Ibu Ariyati’s Story

Ruth Naomi Kitchen — Abasen, Bali

Ibu Ariyati first crossed paths with Ruth Naomi through Ibu Nina, our coordinator. At the time, she had left a broken marriage and was raising her three young daughters alone—overwhelmed, uncertain and without hope.

Through Ruth Naomi Kitchen, Ibu Ariyati found fresh hope and a new opportunity to build a brighter future. Today, her food stall in Abasen, Bali, is thriving, selling traditional Balinese snacks and rice bowls, with daily orders from a nearby hospital and school.

Her three daughters are now doing well and building successful lives.

Her story reminds us that when we invest in one woman, we impact a family. When a single mother finds hope, her children can find hope too. And when families are strengthened, communities are transformed and generations are impacted.
